Home Care Aide

Provides and assists with all activities of daily living. This includes bathing, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, simple wound care, prescribed exercises, nutrition/ hydration, feeding, assure medication intake, light housekeeping and laundry, safety monitoring, and companionship.

Duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Safety monitoring and client observation
  • Take and record vital signs
  • Provide ambulation assistance
  • Assist with hygiene/skin care
  • Assist with exercise
  • Take client to appointments
Requirements
  • Nurse Assistant training
  • CPR and first aid certified
  • Two-step TB test
